This morning I came across an amusing small Flash game; Line Rider. Of course this would have been perfect to play on my Wii, but no such luck. The excellent preview of the Wii browser only supports Flash 7, not 9. ![]()

Gratulerer Johannes!
With the batteries in the red on the my most used Wiimote I came across this gadget. A good idea. My general battery charger has just too much work these days, so my lazy self uses throwawayable batteries… Akk.

Eight hours into The Legend of Zelda now, and I must say; Wow! Game of the year! With more than 30 hours to go according to Edge. I don’t think I have much to add to the critics around the net, but I can give you my immortalization of an interesting front page of GameRankings from 19th of November.

The first thing I did after unpacking the Wii was to … let it do an update of it’s software. That took forever. At least in subjective time. After that it had to go through another even bigger update. The teasing. Then it was time to start Wii’ing!
Weirdly enough it was not the extremely anticipated new Zelda game that was the first game my console saw, nor the zanily quirky pythonish Rayman contre les Lapins Cretins, but the reasonably quirky WiiSports. After a brief session in the Mii-creator (Homage in flash can be found here.) my brother and I was ready for some not so serious sporting.

Just a short post to brag that I did indeed get hold of a Wii on Friday morning… Along with Zelda, WiiPlay, Rayman and of course WiiSports. Fantastic stuff! More later.
Today I finally got inspired to look more into a formal language that always has been there, but I’ve never bothered to look into it before; Regular Expressions. Oh; joyfull bliss and blissfull joy! Although I’ve programmed my share of parsers, designed my “toy” languages and my favourite text editors (Kate and TextPad) always have teased me with it, I’ve never felt the need (or urge) to look into this matter before. Silly me.
