Along with the DS (and PSP) version a version for the PS3 and the Xbox 360 will be launched. I wonder how Sid will make people want to play Civ on a console instead of with mouse and keyboard on the computer, but I guess time can tell… “This is the game I’ve always wanted to make.” he says… (Didn’t he say that about Railroads! as well?)

Hmm. Not my cup of tea, as you know. But turn-based strategy games usually work very well on handhelds, so I’m sure this is going to be great for for those who enjoy Civ (that would be roughly the world’s population minus me from what I can tell).
