PSP Homebrew Visited: Kosmodrones

KosmodronesSaturday the third game I’ve really been interested to play on the PlayStationPortable launched; Kosmodrones. It’s basically a beautiful and very playable remake of the the good old very playable (and very very Finnish) “TurboRaketti” on the Commodore Amiga. (Which again was heavily inspired by the likes of Atari’s Asteroids.)

What this home brewed rendition adds to the stew is the possibility to perform two player races/dogfights locally without wires on Sony’s handheld along with an online ranking system where you can download and race against ghosts.

And did I mention it looks great? Screen

Good luck promoting Kosmodrones Abhoth, FrodeFrank & Co!

(The two other games I’ve wanted to play on the PSP are Lumines and LocoRoco. (And perhaps try out a dash of Crush, yes.) Maybe the homebrew scene has more to offer?)
