After reading a thought provoking post by John Erik Riley in the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten on the state of Norwegian video game journalism some days ago, I created the hash tag #spillanmanm in the twitterverse to see if Twitter really could function as a channel for discussions as Stephen Johnson claims in his famous, inspiring Times cover story about Twitter. (If you haven't read it yet - do it!) And with lots of help from Maren's follow up post in the reasonably new, but highly followable, blog Spillpikene.no, the tag worked wonders as a "bucket" for this interesting discussion.

This is where I provide my impressions on this discussion - in English - and throw my 2 cents into the debate (or whatever people do with their 2 cents these days) in the form of some pseudo random rambling and thoughts on the matter filtered through some red wine. (That's what blogs are for, isn't it?)

So far I've stumbled across six. Go (Weiqi), iGo, Tetsuki, SmartGo touch, Aya Go and plain and simple; (Gnu) Go. As promised here are some of my thoughts on them so far...
